International Yoga Teacher based in Europe & UK
In a series of Dresden Workshops we explored the notion of connection and progression through the Knoff Yoga Series, particularly from Discovery Level to Foundation Level to Intermediate Level.
The first workshop in the series was over the weekend of: 11th and 12th of October, 2014.
A keen group of Knoff trained teachers and students worked on Standing Poses and Sun Salutations, exploring the understanding needed to progress to ever more challenging postures and sequences.
The next in the series was on the weekend of: 29th & 30th November, 2014.
This was an exploration of the Knoff Yoga techniques required to progress through the Heating and Cooling Inversions, being Headstand, Shoulderstand, Handstand and Forearm Balance (Pincha Mayurasana).
The final workshop in the series was on the weekend of: 28th Feb & 1st March, 2015.
In the final session we explored the progression and connection of Knoff poses in the twists and backbends sections of the sequences.
From the 1st of May, 2015 we had a 12-day Intensive Course with Knoff Teachers practising at their individual level of training in early morning Myosre style sessions, followed by learning techniques to access and teach the more challenging and difficult poses. Lots of thoracic opening for backbends and hip opening for lotus! Not to mention preparation for heating inversions.
A fabulous time, as always, in Dresden.
